Effective Ways to Manage Dry Cough



Usually, when you recover from a cold or flu, you may experience dry cough, which could irritate your throat. It is quite annoying to experience that constant tickling sensation in your throat. You really do not want to be a person who starts hacking in a quiet room when a lecture is going on. Cough is just awfully uncomfortable.

A dry cough can be caused by allergies, dry air, sore throat, cold and exposure to dusty and windy environment. Irritation from dry cough is something you want to get to get rid of as quickly as possible. Find out some of the effective ways to manage drug cough efficiently:

1) Honey – One of the best and quickest ways to overcome drug cough is honey. This waxy, sweet yellow liquid will coat, soothe and moisten your throat to stop your hacking cough.

2) Chicken Soup – A chicken broth soup is very warm and comforting to your whole respiratory tract. It soothes dry cough instantly.

3) Steam Inhalation – Steam inhalation through a vessel of boiling water or a hot shower bath is what you require when you have a dry cough.

4) Humidifier – The environment during winter is pretty dry, which can aggravate your sore throat and cough. So, using a proper humidifier is important.
