Repeat prescriptions are issued when you need regular medications to treat your chronic conditions. Your GP will issue a repeat prescription if you need medicines on a regular basis so that you can get your medicines.
Ordering prescription online is a very hassle-free process. All you need to do is nominate Pharmacy Outlet by completing the online registration form and setting up a new account. But before that, you need to discuss with your GP practice, who will send your prescriptions to Pharmacy Outlet electronically.
Please allow at least 48 hours before getting your medicines from your GP surgery. This also applies to those prescriptions that are issued by the hospital consultants. If a GP needs you to start with a new prescription medicine urgently, they will either supply you through the hospital or call the pharmacy beforehand.
If you are on regular medicine, your GP practice will be able to issue you a repeat prescription form to fulfil your prescription needs.

You can change or cancel the nomination any time but after informing your GP and your pharmacy. If you do not inform your GP or pharmacy, your medicines will be delivered to an incorrect address.
