Allergy Awareness Week – Don’t Live In Fear

Allergy Awareness Week is just around the corner and this time lets focus on serious allergies, especially anaphylaxis.
Anaphylaxis is serious allergic reaction that is a life-threatening condition and needs immediate medical attention.

New research carried by a British medical charity, Allergy UK, shows that nearly 45% allergy victims are living in a fear of severe reaction. The survey also found that around 70% of people are not aware how to deal with an allergic reaction. This lack of public knowledge is forcing allergy victims into a life of anxiety and fear.

So, on this Allergy Awareness Week, Pharmacy Outlet would like to help you understand the signs of severe allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis.
Don’t get anxious; just recognise the following signs and symptoms:

On recognising these allergy symptoms, you should immediately call your GP.
Spotting the symptoms and acting promptly could save your life from life-threatening condition.
