All the prescriptions, let it be single or repeat, NHS or private,
are dispensed by Pharmacy Outlet, which is situated at 40 London Road,
Blackwater, Camberley, Surrey GU17 9AA and managed by Pharmacentric Limited.
The helpful pharmacy professionals can be contacted on 03333 222 400.
Pharmacy Outlet is a licensed pharmacy with the General
Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). One can verify the details of registration on
the homepage of the website.
It offers the repeat prescription service so that one can
order their repeat medicine online by completing a simple registration form.
Patients residing in Surrey and surrounding villages, within the reach of five
miles, will get their medicine in two or three days of order.
Your GP will decide whether or not you can use a repeat
prescription for the medication requested by you.
Nominate Pharmacy Outlet for the repeat prescription service
and allow it to collect your prescription directly from your GP on the behalf
of you. Once your GP send your prescription electronically, Pharmacy Outlet
will be able to dispense and deliver your medicine right to your home.
This is relatively a new way for Pharmacy Outlet to offer
you the repeat prescription service. It is a more appropriate service as you
need not require paying a visit to your GP surgery each time when you want to collect
a paper script.
Your GP will send your repeat prescription directly to Pharmacy
Outlet electronically. The pharmacy professionals, after receiving your online
prescription, will dispense and deliver your medication. The way Pharmacy
Outlet collect your prescription from your GP does not change the service you get
from it.
In order to get started with the Repeat Prescription
Service, you must first create an account and nominate Pharmacy Outlet. All you
need to do is complete the simple questionnaire or call 03333 222 400.
Please note that a patient is not eligible to use repeat
prescription service if GPs do not issue a repeat prescription and if they collect
medicines from different pharmacies.
In
England, the NHS has indicated that the Repeat Prescription Service will become
a default option for all those who use regular prescriptions to manage their
chronic conditions.
